With the release of Faith In Every Footstep (an amazing dog book I wrote!) I thought it would be awesome to go through every single dog book I could find and make a list of the best dog novels (and non-fiction stories). I probably spent over 50 hours just putting this together in excel. I even created a specific algorithm for ranking books.   Is there a dog in this book review? Yes and three cats. Little red cat and blue cat are happy to welcome you to their book, but big yellow cat smells something else in the book. Could it be a dog? That would be the worst because dogs hate cats. Sure enough, a small purple dog is behind the sofa and the cats run and hide wherever they can /5(46).

Where's Spot? is the first book written by Eric Hill in Plot Edit. It's time for dinner, but Spot still wants to play. Sally goes looking around for Spot and finally finds him in a basket and he eats his dinner.. Characters hiding in the house Edit. This is the list of characters when Sally goes looking for Spot to find where he's hiding. Woof is Waldo's dog and good friend. Woof originally belonged to Wilma, but over the years became Waldo's dog. Woof comes from the Land of Woofs, which is a land full of dogs like him. Like his owner, Woof sports a red and white bobbled hat, glasses, and a red and white striped suit. Woof sets off with Waldo on his travels with his bone, but always seems to lose it. Woof is shy and easily.

Charlie the Ranch Dog is the boss at home, but when Rowdy, a visiting dog, invades his space, eats his breakfast, and gets tummy rubs from Mama, Charlie is pushed to his limit. Will Charlie learn to be kind and share with Rowdy? This beginning reader is perfect for kids who are reading on their own with simple sentences, familiar words, and simple : HarperCollins. Is there a dog in this book? The playful cats Viviane Schwarz introduced in two earlier books reappear for further face to face interaction with us, their readers. They suspect that there may be a dog close by and they implore us to hide them from him.
